Option #1. Wholesale / Club‑Led Merchandise

Best for clubs or brands that want full control over their merchandise strategy.

In a wholesale partnership, you will commission Unwanted FC to design and produce an upcycled collection using retired or surplus kits. You then sell the finished products through your own online or offline channels.

How it works:

  • Clubs or brands will make use of our upcycling service at agreed wholesale rates (this pricing is provided upon request)
  • You set your own retail pricing and profit margins
  • We can provide pricing guidance based on what performs best for our brand

This model suits partners with existing merchandise infrastructure who want maximum ownership, margin control, and brand integration.

Option #2. Pre‑Order / Made‑to‑Order Collections

Best for testing demand with minimal upfront risk.

With our pre‑order model, we create a small number of samples for marketing and promotion. Products are only made once orders are placed, reducing waste and upfront costs.

How it works:

  • A set number of kits are allocated as source material
  • We produce a limited sample range for launch content
  • Items are made only after customers place orders
  • Partners receive 20–30% of each sale, depending on retail pricing and production requirements

This approach is ideal for limited drops, special anniversaries, or clubs trialling upcycled merchandise for the first time.

Option #3. Community Upcycling Service + Affiliate Royalty

Best for community engagement, sustainability campaigns, and recurring income.

This model centres around collecting old kits from players, members, and supporters over a fixed period (typically 3–4 weeks). Kits are then upcycled by Unwanted FC into new products ordered directly by the community.

How it works:

  • Members in your network receive a unique 15% discount code
  • Facilitating club/brand earns 15% royalty on every order placed using that code
  • Your shop or canteen can act as a kit drop‑off point

Beyond revenue, this partnership drives strong community participation and provides meaningful sustainability storytelling. Perfect for attracting grants, sponsors, and enhancing club communications.
