OUR STORY
Founded out of Australia in late 2018, Unwanted FC is inspired by giving unwanted sporting garments a second life. For years now, we've been merging the gaps between football, fashion and sustainability. Building a unique community of likeminded thinkers and creators.
Driven by a deep appreciation for nostalgic football items, we’ve mastered the art of upcycling - transforming these once beloved garments at the end of their lifecycle into new functional designs such as every day carry-wear and wearables.
The opportunities for football kits & sporting garments to live on are endless.
The journey so far
Our vision for the future
We will continue promoting collections of our own, and offer our custom upcycling service to fans, brands & clubs worldwide. But our ambitions extend beyond the product.
Our long term vision is to have our ideas implemented on a much larger scale through collaborating with like-minded partners. Shaping a future where:
- Consumers are more conscious and educated around the topic,
- Industry norms are challenged and redefined,
- And less waste finds its way into landfills.
As a global community, we're able to form new mindsets where waste becomes a thing of the past.
