Notes - Season 96/97 saw TSV finish 7th in the German top tier. Once title contenders in the Bundesliga, TSV 1860 Munich dropped down to Bundesliga 2 a few season later in 2003/04. Since that 'burn out' season, the club has since been relegated to Bundesliga 3. 

Despite the downhill battle, the support and love for the club in Munich is still strong today with their loyal set of fans.
